Azzore was founded in 1995, by Dr. Terry L. Dew. As the only board certified small animal surgeon in the state of Arkansas, Dr. Dew initially completed procedures in individual practices. As the practice matured Dr. Dew provided services in Emergency Centers in Springdale, Little Rock and Memphis. In April 2009, Dr. Dew opened his own veterinary specialty hospital in Russellville, conveniently located in the scenic River Valley of central Arkansas. Our new location allows Dr. Dew to provide the highest quality specialized care to animals throughout the Mid-South, including digital x-rays and CT scanning. With the addition in 2010 of Dr. Mario Hodgson to the Azzore staff, we also offer treatment and surgery for diseases of the animal eye.
